Mentor

Professional Services and Staffing Firm

A seasoned technologist and visionary leader, Mr. Henderson serves as the Founder and CEO of ABSS Solutions, Inc. (ASI).

With a career spanning over five decades—beginning at the Kennedy Space Center in 1968—he has spent his professional life at the intersection of critical infrastructure and cutting-edge innovation.

Before founding ASI in 2007, Mr. Henderson built a formidable reputation for tackling high-stakes technical challenges. His early career included pivotal roles at General DynamicsXerox, and DuPont, culminating in his work for the Southern California Edison Nuclear Power Station, where he pioneered one of the nation’s first wide-area networks for over 1,000 users. His transition to the public sector as Administrator of Information Services for the District of Columbia further sharpened his expertise in managing complex systems under intense public and fiscal scrutiny.

Under his leadership, ASI has evolved from a solo venture into a powerhouse firm with a peak workforce of over 320 employees and annual revenues reaching $48 million. Following the strategic acquisition of 1st American Systems and Services in 2017, Mr. Henderson has solidified ASI’s position as a premier partner for federal and commercial clients. His philosophy remains simple: prioritize technical excellence, recruit unrivaled talent, and maintain a culture of integrity and fairness.
